MANILA, Philippines - It's official. Fashion icon and "Sex and the
City" actress Sarah Jessica Parker will be in the country to attend the
opening of SM's newest mall.
In an update on its Facebook page on Tuesday, The SM Store announced
that Parker will be opening the department store at SM Aura Premier in
Bonifacio Global City.
"It's official! SARAH JESSICA PARKER will open The SM Store 'Aura," it said, posting a photo of Parker.
The SM Store called Parker's visit "the fashion event of the year." It also used the hashtag #SarahJParkerLoveToShopSMStore.
The SM Store, through its accounts on Facebook and Twitter, has been
posting teasers for the launch event of the new SM Aura mall on Friday,
May 17.
It had earlier sent “tweets” to several entertainment websites such as TMZ that read, “Sarah Jessica Parker coming to Manila?”
